Project Description:
The University of BC retained LEES + Associates to assist them in resolving long-term plans for an active farm site that has been operated as the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems since 2001. The CSFS provides a range of research and educational opportunities to the university community.
In order to help resolve the long term plans for this area, LEES+Associates examined the history of agricultural studies at UBC, identified trends that are affecting the Farm, analyzed academic and non-academic land needs for existing and future programs, and assessed potential, alternative sites for the Farm.
